Time for some down time! Mama Carter said so!
Find 10 minutes today where you can have no noise, no
distraction (Ok, lock yourself in the bathroom and turn on white noise REALLY
loud). First, take a wash cloth size
towel, wet it and apply a lavender lotion or some lemon juice to the
cloth. Microwave it for 90 seconds (or
until hot). Take with you to the
location where you will have private, quiet time. Set a timer for 10 minutes.
Lie down and cover your face with the warm towel. Slowly relax from head to toe. Take deep
breaths and as you exhale visualize all of your stress exiting your body through
your toes. Repeat as necessary.
